The Formlabs Tough 2000 is the strongest and stiffest material in the Formlabs' Tough and Durable family of resins. A reformulation of the original , it offers more advanced mechanical properties and a new professional look.
The Tough 2000 resin is ideal for the creation of strong, stiff functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures. Once cured (use the for best results), the parts printed with the Tough 2000 resin will attain a strength and stiffness comparable to ABS.

How the 5 Liter and Resin Pump works
The Resin Pumping System consists of two components: the Resin Pump and the 5L Resin Container. The Resin Pump takes the place of the standard 1L Resin Cartridge in the back or side of the printer.
Each 5L container ships with a Resin Card that goes inside the body of the Resin Pump and lets the printer know the contents of the external 5 L container.
